Growing Spruce Trees in Montana
Winter injury to evergreens was particularly widespread this past season.
The wet and warm fall, when combined with the cold winter set us up for
severe conditions for Platte County's evergreens. Winter injury can
best be prevented by proper fertilization of trees in the spring and watering
during warm spells through the winter. For publications providing
